LG has announced that it will be rolling out its first netbook in the US. The LG X120 will be available The system's six-cell battery supplies it with up to seven hours of battery life, and it ships with Windows XP rather than Windows 7 Starter. LG says that users will be able to quickly access the web, photos, IM programs and an MP3 player via the company's Linux-based SmartOn feature, without waiting for the operating system to boot up. The X120 is backed by AT&T's 3G network and will cost about $180 after committing to a two-year data plan.
