Misplace your keys or phone often? Well, Motorola has launched a key fob that lets you use your smartphone to find your keys, and the other way round. Dubbed Motorola Keylink, the device is priced at $24.99, and works with the Motorola Connect app for both Android and iOS phones.

Here's how it works: whenever your phone goes missing, pressing the Keylink button will prompt it to start ringing -- so long as it's no more than 100 feet away. Similarly, if you misplace your keys, you can use the associated app installed on your smartphone to make the Bluetooth device ring.

Of course, should you lose both, you'll have to find your stuff the old fashion way, as there isn't much technology can do in that case.

In addition, Motorola has added a convenient feature for those with a second generation Moto X, Droid Turbo, or a device running Android Lollipop. Namely, the ability to enable the Keylink as a trusted device, so they never have to unlock their smartphone when their keys are near.

Keylink is splash-resistant (not waterproof) and contains a user-replaceable coin cell battery, which should last up to a year. The device can be purchased from the company's web site, although it is currently out of stock.
