Valve has launched an impromptu Steam sale featuring 64 stealth-based games. The company gave little warning regarding the event because, well, that'd ruin the whole stealth theme, right?

The Steam Stealth Game Sale includes titles from well-known franchises like Assassin's Creed, Deus Ex and Far Cry as well as smaller games you may not be familiar with such as Mark of the Ninja and The Marvellous Miss Take.

In true Steam sale fashion, the discounts can be quite substantial in many instances. The average discount rate is 75 percent although some games offer even more incentive to buy. Sir, You Are Being Hunted, for example, can be had for just $1.99 (90 percent off) while Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine can be yours for 83 percent off at $2.54.

The sale offers something for virtually every budget as well with pricing on the low end starting at just $0.99 and topping out at $33.49 for Far Cry 4. In fact, you can get all four of the Far Cry games for less than $46 in the event you're new to the series or want to relive some of the earlier franchise entries.

Regardless of what games you want, you'll need to act fact as the sale is only good through October 16 at 10am PDT.
