The sequel to one of the top stealth action-adventure games of 2012, Dishonored, is on track to launch a little more than a week from now. Gamers looking to pick up Dishonored 2 for the PC may want to have a look at the minimum and recommended system specifications to get an idea of how demanding the title will be.

At the bare minimum, Bethesda says you'll need the following:

  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
  • 8 GB RAM; 60 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation.

The publisher's recommended specs consist of:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-8350 or better
  • 16 GB RAM; 60 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation.

As for graphics drivers, you'll want either AMD's Radeon 16.10.2 drivers or Nvidia's GeForce 375.70 drivers or newer.

Bethesda noted that pre-loading for Xbox One has already begun; PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro and PC gamers (via Steam) will be able to pre-load on November 8 ahead of the November 11 launch date (those who pre-order will get access one day earlier).

If you're undecided and plan on checking out some reviews before making a purchasing decision either way, do note that this is one of the games that was mentioned by name when Bethesda last week revealed that advanced copies would only be sent to reviewers one day before launch.
