Despite some problems with its online multiplayer element, Watch Dogs 2 is getting positive reviews. But it seems Ubisoft may have put a bit too much effort into faithfully recreating female characters' genitalia, and is now promising a patch to remove it.

Earlier this week, NeoGAF user Goron2000 revealed that after he "accidentally blew up a few women in a back alley," he spotted one of them exposing her fully-rendered lady parts. Using the in-game camera, he captured the image and posted it on Twitter via the PlayStation 4's Share feature.

For daring to share a unmodified picture from a popular title using an in-game tool, Goron2000 was suspended from the PlayStation Network for a month (it was originally a week, but this was increased). Sony's reason? "Content of an adult or sexual nature is against our Code of Conduct," wrote Sony in the notification message.

Twitter user Swizzasaur showed the offending image in a tweet. Be warned, it's obviously NSFW. If you want to see what Sony was so annoyed about, check out this picture.

Ubisoft has since apologized and will be updating the character model to make her more anatomically incorrect. "We're aware that one of the NPC models in Watch Dogs 2 is rendered in a way that is particularly explicit," the company told Polygon. "While Watch Dogs 2 is a mature-rated game, we apologize and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week. We also are working with our first-party partners to ensure that players can continue to play and share all content from the game within the bounds of the first parties' respective codes of conduct."

While Ubisoft's claims this character is a one-off, there are plenty more examples of nudity in Watch Dogs 2, albeit not quite as detailed. YouTuber Servan Demir uploaded a video of a male character relieving himself in back alley while wearing nothing but a beanie. Another clip shows a hippie commune featuring a naked woman.

Since the incident was made public, Sony has reinstated Goron2000's PSN account.
