The EPOS H3PRO Hybrid is the perfect companion headset for serious gamers, demonstrating excellent audio performance with the benefit of active noise cancellation and 7.1 surround sound. Additionally, with multiple connectivity options at your disposal, you can hook it up to just about all your devices.

And this was possible for hours on end, thanks to the long battery life and comfortable padding and material choices from EPOS. Audio playback, whether in games, video, or audio, was great, though I did wish there was just a little more low end in some situations. I think this could have been easily remedied with the use of 50mm drivers, but it’s possible that the extra power to drive a larger speaker may have reduced the battery life enough to warrant the 40mm driver.

The EPOS H3Pro Hybrid is a stunning gaming headset. From its stylish design, to the build quality, audio fidelity and all-encompassing connectivity, it's the perfect companion to a multi-format household.

The headset if one of the premium all-rounders and you will likely never run into any issues. The headset is not worth it for the casual user, there are plenty of alternatives, including from Epos. While the build quality and microphone may feel a little underdeveloped, there’s no doubting the premium quality sound and customisable features, that allow you to adjust your experience on the fly, for use on multiple devices.

The EPOS H3PRO Hybrid is one of the best gaming headsets I’ve ever reviewed. It’s packed with high-end features such as ANC and Bluetooth, while also flaunting great build quality. Admittedly, it’s more expensive than the vast majority of other gaming headsets, but this is the best all-rounder option currently available.

The EPOS H3Pro Hybrid is deserving of its Pro name thanks to the excellent audio, wireless connectivity options and active noise cancellation. It’s hard to find another headset that has all these features done well so really, there’s not much to compare it too. Still, the $399 price tag is a lot to pay and I’m not convinced that you should. The ANC is a nice addition but not really necessary thanks to the already great passive noise cancellation.

The Epos H3Pro Hybrid are an expensive set of headphones, but they will likely work on any device you own, sometimes more than one at a time, and do a great job of it.
