By adding active noise cancellation to an already excellent BlackShark model, Razer bolsters one of the best wireless headsets on the market with even more luxury. That does mean an added price premium, so it’s important to consider whether isolated audio is more important than a cheaper V2 model. The ANC isn’t perfect, but it’s more than fit for purpose and feels like the bow wrapped around stellar build quality, thumping sound, and a crisp, clear mic. A few added touches, like a chat mix scroller and redesigned hinges, sweeten the deal further.

Razer has leveled up with the BlackShark V3 Pro. I already really liked the V2, but this sequel has improved in every conceivable way, and even in ones I hadn’t thought about. Delivering awesome sound through this comfy and iconic design, offering incredible active noise cancellation with a great microphone, and topping it all off with terrific battery life makes for a killer package. Synapse’s upgrades and replaceable ear cushion plates are just icing on an already epic cake that is the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro wireless gaming headset.

Overall, I was incredibly pleased with the BlackShark V3 Pro. The thoughtful redesign of the yoke and hinges reassures me that this headset will endure long into the future while maintaining a stable and ideal fit. Unlike many other Razer headsets, it does not feature any RGB lighting. While I'm typically like a raccoon fascinated by shiny things, in this case, I am happy to trade the RGB for the extended battery life and reduced weight.
