The Asus Zenbook 13 OLED delivers excellent value, offering great performance, remarkable battery life, and a beautiful OLED screen for under $1k.

You get an efficient eight-core processor paired with an OLED display, in a thin and light chassis. There are some nice extra benefits (the LED numpad, the HDMI) and some drawbacks (the plastic look, the lack of headphone jack, the terrible webcam), but the screen and the processor are the stars of the show and the main considerations. While some of the drawbacks may be dealbreakers for some shoppers (they would be for me), many may see them as reasonable sacrifices in order to get this performance at this price point. If the latter is what you’re looking for, the ZenBook 13 OLED is one to consider.

In the case of the Asus ZenBook 13 though, you really can't go wrong. This is a great machine with a wonderful display and performance that's very nearly as good as Apple's M1 MacBooks—for $400 less.

Much like the Intel variants available so far, this AMD-based ZenBook 13 UM325 is a good portable everyday ultrabook. The competent AMD hardware and the OLED screen are its main selling-points, alongside the all-metal construction, long battery life, and fair pricing, while the cramped keyboard is still its major quirk. Just make sure you choose the AMD configuration that best suits your needs, and understand the particularities of an OLED laptop panel, so you won't end up with any unwanted surprises long-term.

The Asus ZenBook 13 UM325S offers awesome performance, a gorgeous OLED display and long battery life, but its compact design puts the keyboard in an uncomfortable position.

The competition in the ultraportable notebook is at its peak, and frankly, there are some really good options in this segment from Apple and Dell. Still, I would say the Asus ZenBook 13 is a compelling option. It costs Rs 99,990, which is not accessible by any means but this notebook includes expensive components like the OLED display as well as long battery life.

The ZenBook 13 OLED UM325 is a big win for ASUS, and we feel that the top of the line Ryzen 7 5800U, based on the Zen 3 architecture, will bring a ton of performance to the table, although we can’t confirm that at this time.
