Synthetic 3D Performance

For some synthetic 3D testing we have 3Dmark Vantage with some rather boring results first. It would appear that despite the motherboard, processor frequency or memory configuration the performance with the GeForce GTX 285 is exactly the same. Moving on then...

PCmark Vantage has more interesting results though they are laid out as we expected. The Rampage II GENE matches the Asus P6T Deluxe when clocked at 3.20GHz while the overclocked configurations deliver extra performance.

Finally we have SPECviewperf of which we've taken the average performance result from the Maya and 3dsMax tests. The Maya performance does not seem to be affected by the overclocking though we are able to tell you that the Asus Rampage II GENE was not slower than the Asus P6T Deluxe. The 3dsMax test did show a slight performance gain when overclocking the Core i7 965 EE processor.
