Benchmarks: File Download Performance
The N3200XXX was 3% slower than our test system in the 6Gb single ISO download file test with a throughput of 86.2MB/s, while it managed to outperform the LG N2A2 by 47%.
The game copy evaluation is a mixture of small and large, compressed and non-compressed files. There are 1336 files in this test weighing 2.70GB. The N3200XXX actually managed to slip ahead of our desktop system by 11% with a throughput of 48.3MB/s.
The program copy test is comprised of many small non-compressed files (6104 files totaling 2.75GB). The N3200XXX was impressive again, matching the performance of our Core 2 Duo desktop and performing considerably better than the other NAS devices.
