The N3200XXX was a more power hungry than we anticipated, chugging almost twice as much juice as the dual-bay Synology DS211. With a load consumption of 36 watts the N3200XXX used 80% more power than the DS211 and 29% more than the 4-bay Qnap TS-412. While it may seem like a hog next to the other NAS devices, it still consumed 2.5x less power than our low-end desktop system.
