Benchmarks: DiRT 3, Hard Reset

Testing DiRT 3 at 1680x1050 saw the GeForce GTX 650 Ti average 62fps, making it 5% slower than the old Radeon HD 6870, yet 15% faster than the 7770 and 59% faster than the 7750.

Jumping to 1920x1200 the GeForce GTX 680 can be found averaging 106fps which made it 4% slower than the Radeon HD 7970 and 12% slower than the 7970 GHz Edition. The GeForce GTX 670 on the other hand was 12% faster than the Radeon HD 7950 and 2% faster than the 7950 Boost.

Meanwhile the GeForce GTX 660 Ti averaged 91fps making it just 1% faster than the Radeon HD 7950 and 7% faster than 7870. The GeForce GTX 660 was 7% slower than the 7870 as it was only able to match the performance of the 7850 with 79fps.

Playing DiRT 3 at 2560x1600 with the GeForce GTX 680 will allow for an average of 72fps, which is 4% less than the Radeon HD 7970 and 13% less than the 7970 GHz Edition. The GeForce GTX 670 was 10% faster than the Radeon HD 7950, while it matched the 7950 Boost with 68fps.

The Hard Reset benchmark saw the GeForce GTX 650 Ti turn up 54fps at 1680x1050, making it 6% faster than the Radeon HD 6870 and 50% faster than the 7770.

The GeForce GTX 680 averaged an impressive 95fps at 1920x1200, making it 23% faster than the Radeon HD 7970 and 13% faster than the 7970 GHz Edition, which happens to be its biggest win so far. The GeForce GTX 670 also steamed home with an average of 87fps, making it 36% faster than the Radeon HD 7950 and 19% faster than the 7950 Boost.

The GeForce GTX 660 Ti also did well, averaging 73fps to match the Radeon HD 7950 Boost, making it 14% faster than the standard 7950 and 26% faster than the 7870. The GeForce GTX 660 was 3% faster than the Radeon HD 7870 and 25% faster than the 7850.

Now at 2560x1600 the GeForce GTX 680 averaged 57fps making it 19% faster than the Radeon HD 7970 and 6% faster than the 7970 GHz Edition. The GeForce GTX 670 was 28% faster than the Radeon HD 7950 and 9% faster than the 7950 Boost.
