Your problem is, you have too much junk running all the time.
Do not load a tray-program e.g. just because you have it or looks cool.
Or constantly run a photo-editor.
Use common sense and take all those un-needed programs out of your startup.
Click on Start/Run, type in msconfig and hit enter. Start spring-cleaning.
And your HJT-program is outdated.
Boot in safe mode and let it fix:

ok have updated HJT
what junk do i have running that i dont need?
how do i disable it running all the time?
what is a tray prog?
how do i remove all these progs from startup?
i dont have msconfig i get an error when i type it in the run box and i just did a search of my pc for msconfig.exe it is not there
all of these things have been added at install time not by me
because i was getting tons of spyware i strapped down my Internet explorer to real high security
so to get some sites i use to work i had to create a trusted zone with these three URL's in it
was that a bad idea?
cant you tell me what the 017's are please
should i post a new HJT log with the new version of HJT?

You should start reading some PC-magazines, browse around various Forums, read some posts, to get some info about PCs.
Buy a copy of PCAnswers at your local bookstore, read it.
Everybody and his old mother are advising nowadays to NOT use Internet Explorer anymore, EXCEPT for Windows update.
Go to www.getfirefox.com and install the Firefox browser. Use that exclusively from now on.
Get rid of AOL, it EATS up system resources, and having McAfee running as well, would slow any PC considerably.
Attached is the MSConfig from XP, adapted for W2K. "Rightclick/Save as" to get it onto your PC. Instructions inside.
Those O17's are hijacked domains, they need to be cleaned up (with HJT).
Run the new HJT and post a fresh log as attachment with .txt extension.
