Further to yesterdays post by Cyro26 that i joined with a similar problem for which i apologise for causing confusion, i'd like to include the results of the test as suggested by Howard:
I installed the MBM5 and got: CPU is 17C and Case 38C. Bios figures are slightly higher at 24C for the CPU.
Gfx Card is usually at 40C rising to 70C during gaming.
RAM memtest was ok, and i had already cleared all dust last week during other checks.
Could this be a bad CPU when certain demands are made from gaming? I've been told of a similar issue where this was the case where everything works fine except during gaming..
Regards
Steve
In that case I`m inclined to believe it`s some kind of overheating issue with your video card or possibly your cpu.
Open up your case and clean out all the dust bunnies with a little compressed air.
Do NOT use a vacuum cleaner because of the risk of static build up.
Also download and install Motherboard monitor(MBM5) from HERE
Let us know what your cpu temps are.
