Trust me on the following:
It's definitely not a RAM issue. Tested.
Some websites' downloads work fine, but I sometimes(quite rarely) disconnects from those websites' download servers.
Those websites with CRC errors(almost on every >50Mb RAR files, 90% occurrence rate) are the major file-sharing sites like Megaupload, Rapidshare, Hotfile etc.

The cables are connected perfectly. Double-checked.

The funny part is that I didn't have this issue previously with same computer and the same connection, same modem and router, exact same condition.

Please help, thank you very much in advance!

the CRC is a means to verify the integrity of the download.
The original file has one and after the download completes, the dowload software compares
the internal crc to the one generated during the download, and barks if they're not equal.

Several tools (RAR, Zip) will do the same thing when loading the archive from the disk and
preparing to allow inspection or extraction.

If you get the CRC error, you did not receive a good download and must fetch another copy.

Why the CRC mismatch? Very hard to tell. Any DL using TCP should have been 'self-correcting' using the TCP protocol/retry, but any DL using UDP in an attempt to increase the transfer rate is brain-dead to start with.

Did you tweak any of the TCP parms?
