Provides awesome protection from inbound threats and complete control of data leaving your computer for the internet.
In standard mode, most decisions are made completely automatically based on Online Armor's whitelist - meaning that you never need answer a complex firewall prompt again. Online Armor Free is a complementary version of our powerful windows firewall. Built on the same technology as Online Armor, the free version offers a basic firewall at no cost. There are no advertisements, no time limitations and no nag screens!
Keylogger Detection Keyloggers are designed to capture keystrokes while users enter personal information such as passwords and account numbers on financial and other secure Web sites. Online Armor protects your passwords and private information from being stolen by blocking the keylogger as it tries to activate. Online Armors behaviour detection ensures that even specially created or new keyloggers are detected and prevented.
Tamper Protection Malicious programs are getting tougher and tougher and often attack other programs (including security programs) to do their nasty deeds. Online Armor has a process guard function which guards not only itself against tampering, but protects other programs from malicious code.
Scripts Online Armor will warn you when a script (such as a vb script) tries to run. This is important because a VB script can perform potentially dangerous operations on your computer if it runs with the right privileges. Since most users run with full administrative rights all the time, this is a concern - especially when it's very easy to accidentally click on a script in an email.
Minimum requirements: Online Armor currently runs on Windows NT/2000/XP. This program is not suitable for Windows Vista. However, check the compatibility section to see if there are any conflicts with other software you may be running. Please note: Online Armor Free does not contain all of the features of the full Online Armor version.
