When testing with Civilization V at 1920x1200, the HIS Radeon HD 6870 IceQ X Turbo X averaged 60fps and beat the standard HD 6870 by 3% along with the HD 6950 by 2%. Despite this, it was 19% slower than the GTX 560 Ti and 30% slower than the GTX 570.

The HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo averaged 48fps, which was just 2% faster than a standard Radeon HD 6850, 17% slower than the HD 6870, 11% slower than the GTX 460 and 35% slower than the GTX 560 Ti.

At 2560x1600, we found the HIS Radeon HD 6870 IceQ X Turbo X Crossfire configuration to average 89fps, making it 8% slower than the GTX 590 and 16% slower than the HD 6990. They were also 65% faster than the HD 6970 and 51% faster than the GTX 580.

Dawn of War Retribution appears to be heavily CPU-dependent as we found that high-end graphics cards peak at roughly 80fps when running at 1920x1200. That said, the HIS Radeon HD 6870 IceQ X Turbo X was below that threshold at 76fps, making it 6% faster than the GeForce GTX 560 Ti and 10% faster than a standard HD 6870, while it was 6% slower than the Radeon HD 6950.

The HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo churned out 65fps, scoring 23% higher than the GTX 460 and 3% higher than a standard HD 6850. However, it fared about 10% worse than the GTX 560 Ti and HD 6870.

The HIS Radeon HD 6870 IceQ X Turbo X in Crossfire averaged 83fps at 2560x1600, which was 2% faster than the HD 6990 and 1% slower than the GeForce GTX 590. The pair were 20% faster than the HD 6970 and 19% faster than the GTX 580.

Meanwhile, the HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo Crossfire pumped 77fps, making it just 5% slower than the Radeon HD 6990 and 8% slower than the GeForce GTX 590.
