Benchmarks: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: CoP, World in Conflict


When testing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, the HIS Radeon HD 6870 IceQ X Turbo X averaged 55fps at 1920x1200, making it 12% quicker than a reference HD 6870 and 4% faster than the GTX 560 Ti.

Meanwhile, the HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo averaged 40fps, 8% faster than the GTX 460 and a standard HD 6850.

The HIS Radeon HD 6870 IceQ X Turbo X Crossfire configuration gave us 52fps at 2560x1600, clocking in 2% behind the GTX 590 and 15% behind the HD 6990, while leading the HD 6970 by 18% and GTX 580 by 4%.

Interestingly, in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat the HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo Crossfire cards were only able to match the performance of the Radeon HD 6970 with an average of 44fps, making them 12% slower than the GTX 580.


Finally, when testing with World in Conflict the HIS Radeon HD 6870 IceQ X Turbo X mustered 53fps, which was 10% slower than the GTX 560 Ti, 21% slower than the GTX 570 and just 2% faster than a standard HD 6870.

The HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo averaged 44fps, making it 5% faster than a standard HD 6850, 2% slower than the GTX 460 and 15% slower than the HD 6870.

Two HIS Radeon HD 6870 IceQ X Turbo X cards in Crossfire provided an impressive 75fps at 2560x1600, placing them 3% slower than the HD 6990 and 6% slower than the GTX 590, but 51% faster than the HD 6970 and 37% quicker than the GTX 580.

The HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo averaged 62fps in Crossfire, making the pair 29% faster than the HD 6970 and 15% faster than the GTX 580.
