Benchmarks: PCmark 7

Kingston's new flash drive performed well in PCmark 7's importing picture test with a throughput of 26.9MB/s, meeting or exceeding the performance of Patriot and OCZ's offerings.

Most SSDs fetched 22 to 23MB/s in the video editing test and HyperX was no exception, managing precisely 23MB/s.

The HyperX delivered 50.8MB/s in PCMark's starting applications test, setting it a notch below the Intel SSD 510 Series drive as well as the Wildfire and Vertex 3.

Kingston's contender finished strong, placing only a fraction of a MB/s below the Vertex 3.
