Hard drive performance
There
have been a few reported incidents about the ATA66 support
& its performance being no better than ATA33.
Unfortunately, my hard drive supports ATA33 only, but here's
the benchmark anyway. Again the first picture is from my old
BX motherboard (same hard drive) & the second picture is
using this VT6X4.
As
you can see performance is roughly the same. It should be
noted that the hard drive tested was 6.04GB in size & both
motherboards seemed to have performance excellently against
the 6.4GB UDMA/ATA 33 hard drive used in SiSoft.
