Conclusion
As I stated
previously, stability is the most important feature in a
motherboard for me. The KA-11 is a good motherboard for those
people not running at 133MHz+ bus speed, but running at a low
bus speed on a board claiming 133MHz bus support seems a
little odd.
At this
point I would recommend the 100MHz bus supported BX boards
over the KA-11. Looking
at the various newsgroups concerning FIC motherboard
instability issues revealed that I am not the only one with
this problem. I couldn't find any help in those newsgroups
concerning the shut down problem I experienced.
Even after sending out an email to tech support and
receiving it a month later didn't help out matters either.
Hopefully these issues with the KA-11 will be fixed with a
BIOS update, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
If
you really want a VIA 133 or 133A based motherboard, I would
highly recommend you check out Asus or Abit offerings.
