With FSAA 4x + Aniso 16x enabled the 7900GT is just
a frame per second slower than the 7800GTX. The 7800GT on
the other hand is 4fps slower than the 7900GT at 1024x768
and 1280x1024.
With the FSAA + Aniso settings enabled
the X1900GT is again slower than the X1800XT, though this
time the margins were very small. The GeForce 7900GT
struggles in F.E.A.R with the FSAA + Aniso settings enabled
as it was significantly slower than the X1900GT.
Certainly ATI is showing some muscle
here as it dominated the charts for the first time in our
tests with the highest quality options turned on. F.E.A.R.
is also the newest of the games in our test suite, and it
clearly shows the GeForce 7600 GT roots of a budget card,
with performance numbers well below the rest of the
competitors.

Finally, UT2004 shows almost no
difference in performance between the 7800GT, 7900GT and
7800GTX. Even with FSAA 4x + Aniso 16x enabled there is
literally nothing separating these three graphics cards, as
they render over 145fps on average.
The X1800XT and 7900GT deliver very
competitive results and the X1800XT only dips as low as
140fps. The X1900GT on the other hand fell down to 123fps,
failing to keep up with the pack and showing performance
more in the range of the much cheaper 7600 GT. Despite of
its age, UT2004 is still very popular and while most newer
cards will play the game with ease, it does favor NVIDIA
based boards.
