Boomslang 2000 review
Conclusion
The
Razer Boomslang is a peripheral to consider only if you are a
First Person Shooter gamer. I really recommend to all Quakers
and FPS freaks to try out the Boomslang, even though the only
way of buying them now is directly from the manufacturer’s
online store (visit
them here). If you have a friend around that has got one
pay him a visit a play a bit with the mouse.
One
point I haven’t touched in the whole review is the price of
the product, this is not a cheap peripheral, at $99 for the
Boomslang 2000 and a recently lowered $69.99 price for the
Boomslang 1000 this is much more than you would pay for any
other mouse but of course, that all depends on how you want to
see it.
Finally
I can say that I’ve been using the Razer Boomslang 2000 for
more than two months and I won’t replace it with any normal
mouse anytime in the future, once I almost got a Logitech
mouse for replacing the Boomslang but after using it for a
couple of hours I just felt sluggish with those speed/rates.
Pros:
- Much
more smooth sensation for both, games and applications
- Left
handed users can enjoy it as well
- Package
and Manuals are a real luxury, be sure to show them to
your friends =)
Cons:
- High
Price
- The
mouse isn’t fitted for everyone
