Benchmarks
To
see how well the card ran I used to games to test out the
card, Unreal & the Quake 3 demo. Here are the results I
obtained.
Notes - Both the 166 &
198Mhz tests are run at default, installation settings for
the games, bar the disabling of v-sync & any resolution
changes. The “tweaked” settings I used were the settings
that I like to use when playing. You can download my
Unreal.ini & q3config.cfg from here.
Test
System:
-
Pentium
III 450 CPU
-
128mb
RAM
-
Sound
Blaster Live!
All
devices were using latest available drivers.
The “high resolution” version
of the Megabtye WickedGL was installed for WickedGL
benchmarks, & for testing Quake 3 Force triple
buffering was unticked via 3dfxTools.
