Inactive [A] Hard Drive clusters are partly damaged! Help guys Plz

we were on the internet, antivirus pctools was not active. got the message that my system was infected and a scan was being performed. then it said that the "OS could not find a hdd." multiple screens showed up saying that delayed write failure and that the system was not able to save to the memory location. I installed Avast free AV and it stopped most of the problem. except that when i click on start, there are no programs or anything else for that matter.I have installed malware bytes and it found 4 items and they were removed. I also do not have any Icons on my screen and when exploring the c drive it does not show anything other than docs and settings, 1 user and a start menu. Please help me I can't believe this happened when I am always so aware of my Antivirus being unto date and on.
