Adding thermal pads to rear (VRM) of ASRock Taichi Ultimate to disapte heat?

Hi all new to the forum, but a long time viewer of content.

I have a Taichi Ultimate sitting awaiting a 9900k for build. After seeing the recent VRM performance comparison video I'm considering adding some thermal pads to the rear of the board to help with the excess heat in that area.

I'm admittedly having a little Gigabyte Aorus Master envy at the moment.

Seem to me this should be beneficial, correct?

Why do you want thermal pads ?
Check this video out here first:

These fans help here, normally I change my thermal grease every 6 months.
From december 2017 to november 2018 I have not change it yet.

I would suggest you use for that 9900k.
This is like crack for cpu's that like pushing past 4.2ghz and staying hot.
Don't be scared by some scareware reviews, when changing out the grease.
(I made a fatal mistake with my 1055T hexacore with this grease)
Take your 2 fingers on each side of the chip, gently twist it right and left like a PB&J sandwhich.
