  1. I saved the file directly to the flash drive after typing in one of the computers in our comp. laboratory, I used office 2010 but saved it in office 2003 format. When i got home and opened the file in my PC, all the text/paragraphs are displayed in square boxes. I'm using office 2003 at home. I tried font formatting, open and repair, converting to other file types, opened the file in same PC where i encoded. Please give me some links and other recommendations. The contents of the file are parts of my thesis... thanx

Perhaps you used a font in Office 2010 that you don't have on your home computer.
    What OS are both computers?
what is the default font you used in 2010?

Thanx PJAMME, Arial is the default font. I used Win 7 and Office 2010 in the lab, XP and office 2003 at home. Text also are displayed in # sign when i opened it using open office.
