Yup, we'll fix that soon. For the three gaming charts, why does Black Myth Wukong start at 70 while the other two start at zero?
Regardless, the fastest 9070XT only outperforms the slowest by about 5% while the most expensive costs about 24% more than the cheapest (currently - $700 to $920)
Great article, Steve! I feel like GPU roundup reviews have become less common across all tech sites. It's expensive and time consuming, so I get it.
Excellent review, I went for the Asrock Steel Legend and it's been working really great.
I got it at the same price, totally recommend it.That's the one I'm looking at. There is tons in stock and it's $699 (cheapest one).
I love that powercolor uses paint on backplate and heatsinks. For people noticing small things. I actually wanted their version when I was looking for a new GPU. I could not find it unfortunately. Also, I was looking for a card with a waterblock compatibility in mind.
The popular models always have one or even 2 Chinese waterblocks soon after the release available. Less popular models do not get those often.
I wish there were not so many card references. It is a nightmare not only for watercooling fans but the makers of those waterblocks. Instead of making a block and selling it to every owner of 9070xt, they are forced to carefully craft one for one of several version of the card. It is dumb and is one of the reasons these cost so much.
Alphacool blocks are good. One thing I love about those, the thing that I learned in a hard way, is that their connection points are made of metal. It is an amazing engineering decision that all waterblock makers should copy.Alphacool usually has a good selection of waterblocks, My last two builds (mine and the wife's) had XFX Merc 7900XTX and 6900 XT and they have no problems keeping both cards cool, even in her system which is a mid tower with a single loop. They usually have blocks for quite a few of the top selling brands.
