Anthropic researcher resigns, warns the AI race could end in human extinction

There's a documentary about this call "How I Became an AI Apocaloptimist". The guy who made it directly interviewes Sam Altman and the CEO of Anthropic as well as a lot of other experts. After watching it, I can say they are definitely well aware of the risks and are not trying to downplay them. How that actually amounts to safety is still a massive problem.

I can't say that I take anything these "AI Experts" say about AI seriously. Why? They claim they don't know how it works. If they don't know how it works, how can they know or even remotely predict what it will do? These "AI Experts" seem to me more like "AI Dolts" that have no f'ing clue about the subject, but pass gas out every orifice and expect people to take them seriously.

Since they don't understand it, they are afraid of it.
And, IMO, all these asinine statements get them more attention for their narcissistic egos.
