Apple to buy Tesla? One entrepreneur is convinced it'll happen within 18 months

I doubt this is really on the cards. It's been stated that Apple have been poaching Tesla staff but I'd put money on them being staff who don't have specializations particular to the automotive industry.

I'm almost certain it was the opposite direction. Tesla poaching Apple employees. Maybe it was both ways but Tesla was winning that battle.

I highly doubt musk would throw in his lot with apple this early on. but what do I know.

when money is talking, individuals don't have a say when it comes to publicly owned companies.

This would be the absolute quickest way for me to loose interest in Tesla. That's pretty much what happened when Facebook acquired Oculus VR. My hatred for Facebook rubbed off on Oculus VR.

your personal feelings stop you from seeing what could be a great idea or what could be a great product? You should judge the product on the product alone, this is how great things happen.

Most likely a minivan priced like a Ferrari. Will you only be able to have it serviced by official iMechanics using Apple parts?

kinda like if you bought a ford and for warranty could only use ford service centers and ford parts? /s

There are companies I don't want to buy into. It has nothing to do with being blinded about the quality of their products. I will continue to respect Tesla for as long as they stay non-Apply (or any other company I have blacklisted). Product quality is not everything.
