As Samsung and LG abandon the technology, is this the end for 3D TVs?

You can still use sterio scopic 3d and 3d on monitors that support that. lovely gimmic but not dead. just wait for 4d 5d and so on VR% the tv series.
even a old pc monitor can run sterio scopic red blue. try it out. its still amasing to be a NØRD in the future.
3d in games movies and documentries. just put it on supported 3d tv s monitors screens.

I feel sorry for every poor bastard that bought 3D TV back in the day for a few thousand euros... Not only they were super expensive and you basically didn't have any 3D content to watch, most of them were also total crap...

One of the technologies I am glad it's dead.
