yeah that is what I was thinking, but I looked on there site and it says it will work with the x64 edition of windows. The driver that came with the video card is the same one that is on there site, so it is up to date. When I tried to install the driver it said Installing .NET framework 2.0 and then just kept going for a good 10 min.. so that is why I thought it was a driver issue..

.NET Framework is required for ATI's Catalyst Control Center. You can install just the driver without the control center if you want, although I install the CCC too. .NET is a large file and takes awhile to install. Maybe it just wasn't finished.

You could have also gone to Windows Update and installed .NET Framework 1.1, 2.0 and now 3.0 from there (under optional updates). Once 1.1 or 2.0 is installed there are a few security updates that should also be installed. If you haven't already, it would be worthwhile to go to Windows Update and install all of the critical updates.

Finally.. It just took a long time. Anyway on to another issue. The motherboard is an Asus P5LD2-Deluxe WIFI edition. Here is my question. Since I have Windows XP x64 installed the WIFI card is not recognized and I can't find a driver for it. Any ideas. Is Windows XP x64 that much better than the 32-bit version, because I am havening trouble finding drivers that will work.. Any solutions to the WIFI issue?

Do you have the driver CD that should have come with your motherboard? It should be on there. If not, have you gone to the Asus website to find it. I tried to find it myself but at the moment the site seems to be temporarily down for "maintenance."

Well, I do have the CD, but I can't seem to find it. In the book it says for Win XP, 2000..etc.. but no XP x64. I was just wondering if maybe there was an update to allow the wireless card to work??
