Asus plans price hikes for its GPUs and motherboards in early 2021

Glad I got my ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero before the price increase at $390.

I mean, I was going to build a PC with an ASUS TUF board, but if the price is increased by the time I get around to doing so I will just go with another manufacturer.
In the same exact boat, was also going to go with one of they're boards and GPU's, but not if they are going to hike up the price, I'll just take that money to another company, like ASRock or MSI :).

Good news is that any i7 made since bloomfield can run any game; and even a 980Ti/1070 gives playable frames @1080-1440p depending on the game.

Bad news is that all those products are seeing inflated pricing as well. Pricing of new parts always has a trickle down impact on used parts.

Personally I can't see this pandemic ever being over. The problem with COVID-19 is. That it is a virus and all viruses mutate. Now we have a new strain of COVID-19 that has mutated. Furthermore we still don't have a cure for the common cold and COVID-19 will be no different.

I think the world that we once lived in has gone forever and it will never return to way it was. Thanks to the chinese and their filthy disgusting uncivilised eating habits.

The new Vacines for COVID utilize mRDNA and CRISPR, the first of their kind in fact. Scientists predict it will take thousands of mutations for COVID to become resistant to these new vaccines. Not only was the development of these new vaccines extremely fast, they should be extremely potent for a long time.

Lets hope so.

But do you think things will return to the way they were?

I mean with most people working from home now via a computer etc.
