AT&T will be launching their first 4G LTE smartphones in the US on November 6. The first two handsets being offered are the HTC Vivid and the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.

HTC’s Vivid features a 4.5-inch qHD display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot that can add an additional 32GB of space, an 8MP rear shooter capable of 1080p video recording and a front-facing 1.3MP camera.

Samsung’s Galaxy S II Skyrocket includes a 4.5-inch SuperAMOLED Plus display running at 800 x 480 pixels, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 16GB of on-board memory with the same microSD card slot that can add an additional 32GB, an 8MP rear camera with 1080p support and a 2MP front lens for video chatting.

The HTC Vivid can be yours for $200 while the Galaxy S II Skyrocket commands $250. Both Android phones require a two year service agreement to qualify for these prices. The two smartphones join the USBConnect Momentum 4G and the Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G which were launched back in August.

Since AT&T’s LTE network is just now being rolled out, don’t expect to be able to obtain high-speed access in most areas. MSNBC reports that there are only nine markets currently offering AT&T LTE in the US: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Boston, Washington D.C., Baltimore and Athens. AT&T is expected to cover 15 markets by the end of the year.
