BCCode error using IE & Firefox on rare occasion

Hi there,

Every now and then I get a system reboot whilst using Firefox or IE. This is the message I get after restart:


BCCode : 100000c5 BCP1 : 00000004 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001
BCP4 : 8054AE34 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I have a similar issue. Looking for help also.

I'm getting this:

BCCode : 100000c5 BCP1 : 01000003 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001
BCP4 : 8054AE34 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

and it's occurring more and more frequently. My feeling is it's a hardware issue and not a virus but I don't know for sure. Any good spyware software out there someone can recommend ?

I figured out what the problem was. It was my video card. It slowly went bad causing my system to reboot and slowdown drastically at times. I had it replaced and all is well.

If It turns out you do have a virus/spyware problem, please start a new thread in our security and the web forum.

I found that mine was caused by a conflict between Avast & Zonealarm. I just removed Avast and that fixed it.
