Greetings, everyone.
I am using a Sony VAIO notebook computer; model VGN-CR220E running on Windows Vista Home Premium.
Upon restarting I can not seem to access the BIOS menu regardless if I press the F1, F2, or even the F3 key. Those keys bring up a menu with two options:
1.) Boot Windows Vista (Press F8 for more options)
2.) Memory Diagnostic Test
Pressing F8 while option 1 is selected merely takes me to the Windows OS boot-up selection screen (safe mode, command prompt, etc.) I have all of the latest chipset and BIOS updates, so I'm beginning to worry that this machine was designed to lock the user out of the BIOS menu.
Thanks in advance for you insights!
