Blue dots when tranferring stuff from dongle to laptop

Hi all got memory stick and got loads of music pictures etc on there and on a external hard drive but when ever I try to put it al back on laptop or pc it shows with all blue dots and cant do nothing can anyone help thanks in advance

UPDATE>>> I TRIED different memory sticks and different hard drive so assuming problem lies with the files on my laptop how can I fix this please any help welcome

Could it be a virus?? :s Have you checked it?

No not checked for virus . I will tho for some reason I didnt think of it being virus

UPDATE_ No virus or maleware found does anyone have any other suggestions please
