Blue screen comes up everytime i turn on my computer. No mode on it will work. I have a dell xps 400 with windows xp, I don't really know anything else about it. I tried running chkdsk /r from recovery console and it ran fine but didn't do anything in the end. I have read some other posts and I don't know if I have the right recovery/installation disk but I do have the operating system reinstallation DVD. I found some more specs for my computer by going to setup(F2) on startup, SYSTEM=Dell DXP051, BIOS Version=A03 (01/03/06, Processor type=Intel(R) Pentium(R) D cpu 2.80GHz, Installed Memory=1.5GB.
