Botched Restore on MacBook Pro

I attempted to reset my device and everything went okay except for when it's time for me to either download the system from the Internet or when I try and just do it from the copy that's stored on the computer I get an error message and it won't let me install High Sierra any ideas as to how I can get this operating system put onto my MacBook Pro I would greatly appreciate
