Hello everybody, this is my first post in this forum. I have been getting BSOD in my laptop (HP dv9000) since yesterday whenever I boot my system. I have both Windows XP and Windows Vista installed in the same machine. This combination has been working fine for me for approximately last two months. SInce yesterday whenever I try to boot my system using Vista, I get vertical blue lines in from the very beginning and then it crashes with blue screen. Same problem for win Xp too. No I am only able to go through safe mode only. Please help.

I have attached the minidump files from my Vista partition.

Two of the four minidumps specifically cited nvlddmkm.sys which is an Nvidia driver. Go to HP's ebsite, find your laptop model and update your drivers.

And one more thing..... as for the vertical blue lines ( as in a barcode), could they be related to video card drivers?
