Can someone help me with my corrupted wmv video problem?

I have some wmv files that I recover recently. They have file size but have no length. When I try to open then in Windos Media Player, there is only black screen, no audio. What do I do?

If the data was corrupted I don't see how you will be able to repair the files. I think that is why everyone does multiple backups. You have your source and then you make a local 2nd copy and you need a 3rd offsite copy. It's really the only way to defend against this type of loss you have right now. Unless anyone else has any ideas?
