Recently I ended up cloning my old 1tb m.2 SSD to a new 2tb one, first using ASUS clone drive yielded no good results then I used Macrium Reflect which seemed to work somewhat, but after rebooting after that I got a windows blue screen with an error code: 0xc0000225, I've even tried fixing the boot MGR through console, but that too failed to work.

Just did a fresh install of windows, that's the only thing that fixed it.

Most likely issue was the original drivers were not compatible with the motherboard in the new system.
