Can't update or remove Silverlight

Apparently I am missing the .msi file for the silverlight application and from what I am seeing the fix is to un-install and re-install. I am running on Windows 7 and apparently there is no Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Apparently Microsoft removed it because it was causing more damage then it was fixing. Does anyone know of a good alternative program to the cleanup utility or how to fix this problem another way? I really don't want to mess with the registry on my own. I don't think that's a good idea at all. I don't know enough about it to go poking around.

Please tell us your computer brand and model, or describe the configuration.
Try downloading and installing Silverlight once more.
Tell us what problems you have doing that process.

Thanks, I ended up manually removing it. I found an article on the web that told me exactly which key it was that needed deleting.
