CAS Latency question

Hello! I would like to know how noticable would be the diference between a CAS Latency 5 from 7, I never understood much of this timings but AFAIK the lower the better right?

I ask this because I'm willing to buy 2x2GB of DDR2 1066 memory and brands and speed seems to be good but there's a price difference of $32 after MIR, is it worth it for just a lower Latency?

the ram with the lower timings will give you quicker response in some instances but if you're not doing anything concerning a system made for gaming you wouldnt notice the difference by "eye" too much.

Actually the main use of my system is for gaming purposes

the CORSAIR DOMINATOR should be the better, faster.
