I have a compaq presario 6330us running with a 60GB hard drive and 1GB RAM. It was working fine until the other day, I figured that I would just use my recovery disk but no luck. My computer wont read my recovery disk. It just goes straight to "Windows has not loaded successfully" and lets me choose safe mode, start normally etc. Nomatter what I pick, it goes right back to the screen after attempting to boot. A blue screen flashes that says that there was an error, but I cant seem to get my recovery disk to be recognized by my computer. Anyone able to help me?

Don't you press F10 or some function key to manually choose to boot from CD (at system startup) I'm sure there is some message on screen stating this)

Or it could just be a faulty Disc Drive (they do get dirty)

Oh and instead of warm restarting, make sure to turn off, and do a cold start (cold meaning from previously being off)

I tried to replace the disk and the EIDE cables.I tried the cold start as well. None has worked. Thank you for the suggestions though
