hi there
i spilt a small amout of drink on my keyboard 2 days later, my compaq notepad wont load up
it goes to a black screen with the logo and options f9 or f10 - something to do with bios setup, after a short while it goes to a black screen with the note "reboot and select proper boot device" or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key!
I have gone into bios and ran a diagnostic test which said failed 7 ....eh...:blackeye:
any suggestions welcome

It makes no difference if it was a small amount of drink, the notepad doesn't work right does it? You will have to get someone that repairs computers to take the keyboard off and possibly clean it, or replace it
