Please need help compaq will not boot up. I got it and the fan turns on and the lights for the power button come on but the hard drive light does not show and the monitor displays nothing. I changed out the motherboard to a df mother board which i checked and was a replacement and then changed out the processor and still nothing it will not work. What else can i do?

Sounds as though you've done the basic things as listed here: Tutorial: No POST (Power On Self Test
Only thing left is to start replacing parts. Start with Power Supply (even though it powers up) Then possibly Ram, then Motherboard
