Had friends over for a new year eve celebration when one fellow wanted to
"plug in" to my ethernet cable using his laptop and do some stuff on the internet.
(which i agreed to). Later I suspected he may be trying to hack some information. 3 days later my bank called to say there were 3 successful transfers (~$600 each). Fortunately they caught up to him and froze the account. What I would lke to know is whether he may have obtained my bank access codes somehow by leaving a trojan or keylogger on the network component which would later transmit data to him. If so, how can i detect and remove this by troubleshooting the router or cable modem or something. Fortunately he did not use my laptop. Also he may not be the culprit at all. The bank said to make sure I have virus protection which I certainly have but often to no avail.
