Computer freezes when playing games or watching video on youtube

Hi everyone, pls I need help, I have problems with computer freezing when I watch video (youtube, movie in bsplayer) or when I play games.

My specs:

Motherboard: Asus P5Q PRO
Graphic card: Nvidia geforce 9400GT
Ram: 2x Kingston 1G, 2x Kingston 512MB
Intel core 2 quad q9400
PSU: ZM600-LX
Win 10 64bit

Any suggestions?

3Gb of ram isn't much for a 64 bit version of Windows 10.

But it works fine like a half year ago

No reputable manufacturer would sell a system running 64 bit Windows 10 with less than 4 Gb ram and 8 Gb would be much more acceptable. Maybe it has other issues slowing things down. I'd either install a 32 bit version of W10 or splash the cash on a decent amount of ram. Upgrading the graphics card might help too.

Install the h264ify addon for smoother YouTube video playback.

As for gaming and general video playback, try doing a custom clean install of the GeForce 342.01 drivers.

If you're still having issues scan your computer with Malwarebytes.
