Computer Randomly freezes

I would. Usually the device mgr->controller->properties will give the version installed

From what I can see having downloaded the latest firmware from the video drivers seemed to have fixed the problem. Thank you so much for the help!

Yes, see if you can get an updated video driver from AMD's download site under your model and OS...

You're welcome. The tip-off was failing only when gaming, which stresses the video system.

The computer hasn't frozen for 2 days or so, unfortunately it has frozen once today randomly. Is this a simple coincidence or? I had downloaded skype late last night, would that be a problem?

Although, I'm installing the driver software automatically from the device manager. I shall update you guys if anything changes.

Mind if I ask, what exactly is the mtu? Haha
MTU:- Maximum Transmission Unit, the size of a 'packet'. It is limited to 1500 and must be a multiple of 8. A value less than 1500 (the closest, valid value is 1492) inhibits packet fragmentation and in doing so, avoids the subsequent necessity of packet reassembly, which degrades performance and sometimes crashes the router.

Use this
  • netsh interface ipv4 show subinterface "Local Area Connection"
but understand, that is the value in your PC and a SMALLER value in your router would have control
